The room was functional, the staff was extraordinarily friendly, fine food. I liked the fact that there were central heating, a safe and a mini-fridge-bar. Early check-in, late check-out. Location was perfect for Istanbul, close enough to taksim square and Taksim and metro station bus station.

Breakfast had cheap choices, including cheese, breads, jam, pastries and milk, sadly we didn't have time and didn't try all of it. Bed was soft, room was updated with an EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD view. The quiet atmosphere & fast staff. Cozy location to a cobblestone street.

we loved staying at faros hotel taksim. a good base for exploring istanbul. 300 feet away from the property there is celebi kebap grill, which is a good dining choice.
